Yes, I know we are just beginning to enjoy the first hints of summer, but it is not too early to start thinking about November, and New York State History Month.

If you are planning programs related to New York State History during the month of November, please send me abstracts of them and an image or two to illustrate the entry, and I will post them to the History Month website at http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/historymonth/index.html

The 2001 History Month website is just in its early stages of development, and will be updated periodically during the summer. For more information, contact me.
