Before Chittenango became deeply aware of the L. Frank Baum connection they
used to brag that they had been the a center for the silent film industry -
until Hollywood took the business away (sounds like some local guy tried to
make a film or two and failed).

Some film was shot in Cazenovia a few years back, had scenes of the
college, Lincklaen House (elevator shots made elsewhere), and kissing
sweethearts on the shore of Cazenovia Lake. There was a local preview of
it but I never saw it - it went national but I understand it flopped.

Another (maybe a student film) was made with the exterior of Lorenzo - huge
great Gatsby-like fancy car and fancy lady drove up to the front, she walks
up the steps and in the front door. Camera view changes to inside looking
at her coming in the door - she promptly drops here robe with nothing
under. Obviously wasn't filmed inside Lorenzo! Never saw that one either
but was around when they filmed it and heard rumors about how they made
Lorenzo look like a 20's nudist gambling den.

Also a follow-up to Brothers Keeper is said to be in the works.
