The Regional Council of Historical Agencies, an upstate museum service
organization, is developing a grant proposal for a series of forums that
explore regional identity. We're looking for suggestions for scholars
that can help general audiences understand the nature of several
regions: the Catskills, the North Country, the Finger Lakes, Central
New York and the Southern Tier. We'd also be interested in hearing,
from list subscribers, their ideas about what makes one region distinct
from another.
Feel free to reply off the list to [log in to unmask]; if you think your
comments are of general interest, please post them. Thanks for any
help.
