Is anyone aware of a traveler's journal or any other manuscript or published account specifically describing the junction of the Hudson River and Hoosic River. The location was/is in Schaghticoke (Rensselaer County) and Stillwater (Saratoga County). I am interested in any account that predates the construction of the Barge Canal in 1910-1912.
